Ka’ena View Point, O’ahu
Hi guys!
Instead of going twice to Kailua Beach I was able to finally convince our language school teacher to take us to Ka‘ena‘s View Point (I wanted to explore as much as possible).
Hi guys!
Instead of going twice to Kailua Beach I was able to finally convince our language school teacher to take us to Ka‘ena‘s View Point (I wanted to explore as much as possible).
Blog posts always take very long to be written down, to choose all the pictures and then to edit them as well.. My current job is not as easy compared to what I did before. So in my free time, I always try to catch up some sleep since I have very long working hours.
But today I’d like to show you some photos of our day trip to North Shore on O’ahu, Hawaii.
One morning Linda, Polina and I decided to watch the sunrise on top of Diamond Head.
So we met each other at 5 am in front of our school. From there we took an Uber. As we got closer to the state national park he dropped us off. From there we walked about 30 minutes until we reached the top. You‘d be fast if you go there at another time but for the sunrise, the trail was crowded!
Me neither – until a few weeks ago!
In Hawaii I got to know lots of new friends. Polina, the one I got to know from the first day on, and I explored O’ahu together whenever we could!
After all, one day we wanted to go kayaking to marvel the setting sun. “Unfortunately” we ended up getting to know how to canoe.
The first school activity I joined was hiking The Lanikai Pillbox Hike also known as The Kaiwa Ridge Trail.
With the school-van it took us about 40 minutes from Waikiki to drive to Lanikai. From the parking lot we walked about half an hour until we got to the first pillbox.
