exchange in Montpellier, France

Hi guys! <3

Since Friday I’m back home from my stay in Montpellier. That’s a really cool student city in the south of France which we visited for two weeks..
I was there with my whole school from Switzerland. We stayed in pairs at a host family. Some of us were really lucky.. others not really & changed their place. Deborah and I felt quite well at our host family because four other students lived aswell with us and our host-mum was really nice.. That made it quite funny and interesting while we were together for breakfast and dinner and sometimes when we go out in the night.

being tourist in MALAGÀ

Last Wednesday I travelled with my family and my boyfriend to a city in Spain called Malagà. We stood in the little hotel VINCCI which is located in the middle of the old city on Pasillo de Santa Isabel. As soon as we put our luggage into our rooms we went to the old town and enjoyed our first typic lunch with tapas with a glass of delicious cava.

On Thursday we drove with a bus for one hour to a little city called Nerja. We went to the beach and made some walks through the narrow alleys. As we took a taxi to a village up on a hill we had a really beautiful view because all the houses there were white!

As we tried to get home, it took us almost 3 hours because in Spain they celebrated easter with the Semana Santa. That means thousends of people were on the street and watched how disguised people were carrying some extremely heavy sculptures on their shoulders. Some of them played with trumpets or with drums and everybodyelse was singing. They had their processions till over midnight or even till the next morning which was a little bit troublesome for falling asleep!

On Friday we made a carriage ride and in the afternoon we went to the beach of Malagà where we spent the rest of the day and had the pleasure to watch a stunning sunset.

Saturday was our shopping-day! We visited some shopping malls and some little cute shops in the old part of the city. Later I will show you some of my new outfits! (:    In the afternoon we visited the Picasso Museum and had a fabolous snack in the oldest tappas bar called El Pimpi.

Sunday was our last day. As soon as we got our luggage together we left the hotel and had our last lunch at the port before we flew back home.

It was once again an unforgettable adventure, maybe see you soon again Spain!
