being tourist in MALAGÀ

Last Wednesday I travelled with my family and my boyfriend to a city in Spain called Malagà. We stood in the little hotel VINCCI which is located in the middle of the old city on Pasillo de Santa Isabel. As soon as we put our luggage into our rooms we went to the old town and enjoyed our first typic lunch with tapas with a glass of delicious cava.

On Thursday we drove with a bus for one hour to a little city called Nerja. We went to the beach and made some walks through the narrow alleys. As we took a taxi to a village up on a hill we had a really beautiful view because all the houses there were white!

As we tried to get home, it took us almost 3 hours because in Spain they celebrated easter with the Semana Santa. That means thousends of people were on the street and watched how disguised people were carrying some extremely heavy sculptures on their shoulders. Some of them played with trumpets or with drums and everybodyelse was singing. They had their processions till over midnight or even till the next morning which was a little bit troublesome for falling asleep!

On Friday we made a carriage ride and in the afternoon we went to the beach of Malagà where we spent the rest of the day and had the pleasure to watch a stunning sunset.

Saturday was our shopping-day! We visited some shopping malls and some little cute shops in the old part of the city. Later I will show you some of my new outfits! (:    In the afternoon we visited the Picasso Museum and had a fabolous snack in the oldest tappas bar called El Pimpi.

Sunday was our last day. As soon as we got our luggage together we left the hotel and had our last lunch at the port before we flew back home.

It was once again an unforgettable adventure, maybe see you soon again Spain!

Miami, Bahamas, New York

welcome to miami

WELCOME TO MIAMI!

Exactly one year ago I went with my family to Miami. We spent there four amazing days. So we went shopping, made a trip to the Everglades Alligator Farm, where we held a baby aligator in our hands!! Then we discovered some different parts of Miami like Little Havana and visited for the first time a baseball stadium.

After that we flew to the Bahamas. We spent three days on Paradise Island in the amazing Hotel Atlantis. There we had the amusement to swim with dolphins and saw lots of water-animals in giant aquariums! That was really breathtaking! Then we spent another four days on a little island called Cat Island. We slept in a little stone bungalow and enjoyed our meals directly to the ocean. That was literarly ‘another day in paradise’!

For the third part of our vacation we went to New York City. There we stood in the Hotel Marriot in the middle of the Times Square! Of course we did shopping again. 😉 But we also explored Little Italy and Chinatown, made a boat-tour on the Hudson River and took some snapshots of Lady Liberty. We also had lots of fun at Madame Tussauds, the wax figures were really scary because sometimes they looked pretty real! Another day we visited the 9/11 Memorial and in the evening the musical Jersey Boys. By chance I met a friend from my school so we had breakfast at starbucks together and talked about each other experiences.

One day we visited the uncle of my mother in Bethpage, New York. It was really interesting to hear the differences of the lifestyle in the USA compared to Italy and Switzerland from where we came from. In the evening we went back to NYC and met a friend of my father and his daughter. We had an incredible view over the central park from their appartement! For dinner we went to an amazing restaurant called Beauty and Essex which I can really recommend!

I really miss those days and hope I’ll be back there soon!

globe-watch

I finally found my globe-watch!

I’m really addicted to worldmaps. As you may know, I also got a worldmap-tattoo. Travelling is my passion and with all the maps around me I will always find my way.

I saw that watch on tumblr before and I knew that I need to have it as soon as possible. So I started to search it in the internet and suddenly I found it. I couldn’t be happier!

Another positive thing beside the beauty of it is, that no matter what you wear, it will always go with it. From now on that watch will be my favorite accessory!

Love to travel

IMG_2317

Travel and explore the whole big world!

That’s exactly what I’m trying to do.

Someday I don’t want to live in Switzerland anymore. I want to find some more beautiful places on earth. I know that I will discover something better than paradise somewhere. Where I can live for some days, weeks, months or even years. But in the end I’ll have to move again. I don’t want to be stucked anywhere. I want to be free and independent.. I want to leave everything which is bad or is putting me down behind me, book a ticket and just fly away.

I want to improve my languages or even learn a compleetely new one. Enjoy all the activities on my way and meet some amazing people!

Who knows, maybe we’ll see us soon!
